General Tso's Tofu/Vegan Tofu Kangjung

Few of my bookmarked recipes are still sitting sadly to give a try at home. Obviously am trying to clear them one by one. I have been planning for the popular General Tso's chicken for a while, but somehow i couldnt able to dish out. But thank god, i tried my hands with Soya paneer aka Tofu recently. Oh my god, what a easy breezy dish to make at home. I simply loved the mix of sweetness, spiciness and sourness in this dish. This dish makes an excellent side dish to serve along with cooked rice or simply sauteed noodles.

Do you know even Koreans have the same dish but with a different name, yes in Korea, this dish is called as Tofu Kangjung while in Chinese this dish is known as General Tso's Tofu. If you want to make a super delicious tofu dish, you must definitely give a try to this lipsmacking Vegan General Tso's Tofu. Everyone at home enjoyed thoroughly with rice for our lunch. Am running this week's blogging marathon with Healthy Weekday Lunches as theme and this Vegan Tofu dish goes for the theme.
